Can I extend the session on the day of the session?
If I am available and for an added fee, more time can be purchased but this would need to be discussed prior to the session.
What kind of camera equipment do you use?
I shoot with a Nikon dslr camera and my favorite lens to use is a 50 mm. I use Lightroom and Photoshop to do light editing. And I deliver my client galleries through Pixieset. I am a lover of natural light and shoot with the light in mind.
Do I have to order prints through you?
No you do not have to order prints through me. In fact, I do not order prints for my clients at all. When you purchase a session with me your digital images include a print release in the price for you to print on your own. However, I will recommend a printing company such as MPIX for the best quality prints.

What should I wear to my session?
There are so many options when it comes to choosing a style and outfits for a session. Try to steer clear of logos. I would be more than happy to help style or give you tips on what to wear prior to your session. Please just let me know in advance if you would like assistance with this and send me any inspiration photos. Also, Pinterest is a great resource for ideas and color palettes to get some inspiration from.
How will I receive my images from my session?
After I have finished hand editing your photos from our session I will send you a photo gallery link via email through Pixieset. Through the link you will be able to download your high resolution images for printing and sharing.
How long will it take to receive my session images?
This can vary at times but you can usually expect to have your gallery between 2-4 weeks from the session.
Do you have a retainer or deposit required to book?
Yes, I do require a retainer to book a session. This is to protect my time and energy but I do understand that things happen and clients may need to reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances. Retainers are non refundable so I try to work with you to get your session rescheduled in a timely manner.
What if my kids are misbehaving?
Perfectly curated smiling kids is never my main goal. Do not worry whatsoever if your kid is having a tough day. We all have our moments and I want you to relax and realize that even through some rambunctious children we can capture memories that you will love. My main goal is to capture your family being real so if a child is having a tough day we will be patient with them and give them the space to work through it or give them extra love if they need it.
What does my session fee include?
Your session fee includes a consultation. This can be done in person over a tea or coffee or via Facetime or Zoom or even just a phone chat if you prefer. It also includes your session sitting fee, a private online gallery of hand edited digital images. Each package includes a set amount of digital images but the entire gallery may be purchased for an additional cost.
Do you offer sneak peaks from a session?
I personally do not offer sneak peaks from a session because I put so much time and energy into your images and want to be able to send you a fully edited and handcrafted gallery all at once.
Can I bring props to my session?
That is a great question and something we can definitely discuss prior to your session to see if it will be a good addition. When we chat or if we do a consultation beforehand please let me know so I can take note and discuss if it will work or not.
Where should I print my images?
With your package I will include a print release as I do not offer prints as of now. So with that you are able to print where you choose. I do however highly recommend printing through a company such as
